information technology, government liaison,
venue booking, scheduling, operations management,

Stage
Management:
A Stage Manager is one who
has overall responsibility for stage management
and the smooth execution of a production. It
is the stage manager's responsibility to work
closely with the production crew to ensure that
the artists’ vision is realized in the
actual performance. |

Talent
Buyer / Booking Agent:
A Talent Agent, or Booking
Agent, is a person who finds jobs
for musicians, producers, writers and other
people in various entertainment businesses.
Bars and nightclubs that specialize in presenting
live music on a regular basis often employ
an individual to assemble the schedule of
events and are known as Venue Buyers or Talent
Buyers.
Booking
agents are the people that actually book shows
for the artists they represent. They make
all of the arrangements with the promoters
of the shows. The booking agent presents the
promoter or producer of the concert with a
performance agreement, which stipulates the
artist’s requirements. Items may include
lighting, sound, meals, hotel accommodations,
and transportation. |

Talent
Manager:
A Talent Manager, also known as an artist manager
or band manager, is an individual or company
who guides the professional career of artists
in the entertainment industry. The responsibility
of the talent manager is to oversee the day-to-day
business affairs of an artist; advise and counsel
talent concerning professional matters, long-term
plans and personal decisions which may affect
their career. |
